Billing
Declario has three plans. You subscribe from Settings → Billing; payments are handled by Paddle, which acts as our Merchant of Record.

- Active proposals are the proposals in Draft, Sent or Viewed at the same time. It is not a monthly count: accepted, rejected and expired proposals don't count.
- The number of members is checked when you add someone.
- Tracking, the engagement score, client comments and signatures are included in every plan.
The trial
New workspaces get a 14-day trial of the Pro plan, with no card required.
The trial includes 10 AI credits.
Custom domains are not part of the trial; they need a paid subscription.
Subscribing
In Settings → Billing, under Choose a plan, pick monthly or annual billing and choose a plan. Paddle's checkout opens on the page.
- You enter your card details in Paddle's checkout; they never reach Declario.
- Paddle shows the final amount, including any tax, before you pay.
- When the payment is complete you return to Settings → Billing, which shows your new plan.
Only workspace admins can choose a plan. The plan picker is shown to workspaces without a live subscription.
Usage
Usage in Settings → Billing shows how much of your plan's limits you are using: active proposals, seats, custom templates and AI credits this month.
File storage is not measured, so it is not shown.
When the trial ends
If the trial ends without a subscription, the workspace moves to Starter limits, and until you subscribe you cannot:
- create new proposals;
- duplicate proposals;
- use AI drafting.
Proposals you have already sent stay online: clients can still open, sign and decline them, and tracking continues. Choose a plan in Settings → Billing to lift these limits.
Payments through Paddle
Subscriptions are sold by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record: Paddle processes the payment and issues your invoices and receipts.
Once you have a subscription, admins open Paddle's customer portal with Manage billing in Settings → Billing. The portal shows your invoices and lets you update the payment method or cancel.
